As Head of Payments, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the payments strategy to drive optimal performance, compliance, and innovation. This leadership role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the payment solutions, elevate the customer experience, and ensure adherence to industry regulations. Additionally, you will focus on operational excellence and lead the expansion of the payment solutions portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of payment operations, ensuring efficiency and strategic alignment with business objectives.
  • Define and implement strategies for payment optimization, cost reduction, and transaction success rate improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with the compliance team to address risks and mitigate fraud.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other financial institutions, negotiating contracts to secure optimal terms and expand payment capabilities.
  • Analyze payment data to identify trends and areas for improvement; generate reports on payment performance including transaction volumes, success rates, and costs.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and customer support teams to enhance payment-related processes and address any issues that arise.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and launch new payment products and services.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the payments team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years in payments management, preferably within the fintech or iGaming industry.
  • Expertise in payment systems, gateways, and transaction processing.
  • Strong data analysis skills to monitor trends and make data-driven improvements to the payment processes.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a track record of driving results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex payment strategies into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in payment processing platforms and related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on operational efficiency and strategic growth.


Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience with iGaming payment solutions.
  • Knowledge of global payment regulations and compliance standards.
