Accountant – ERP implementation focus

Our associate is looking for an exceptional accountant with specialized experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as Oracle NetSuite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations and either extensive hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite or a proven track record of successfully implementing and rolling out similar ERP systems. Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Oracle NetSuite ERP Implementation and Management:

  • Lead the implementation and customization of Oracle NetSuite to optimize financial processes.
  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot NetSuite workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Ensure seamless data migration and system integration.
  • Train internal users and provide ongoing support for NetSuite functionalities.

Process Improvement and Automation:

  • Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and propose solutions using NetSuite's automation capabilities.
  • Streamline financial workflows, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report processes.
  • Implement best practices for system usage and financial data management.
  • Collaboration and Compliance:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, and HR, to align financial processes with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and local tax regulations.
  • Support audits by preparing accurate documentation and reports.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICPAC, ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on ERP systems.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite or experience implementing and rolling out similar ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to train others on NetSuite functionalities.
