Accountant

They are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team in Cyprus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll management, and overall financial record-keeping for the Cyprus entity. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of local accounting regulations and tax laws. The position will be part time initially.

- Maintain accurate financial records and perform full-cycle bookkeeping.

- Prepare and submit VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings in compliance with Cyprus tax laws.

- Process and manage payroll, ensuring timely salary payments and social security contributions.

- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Ensure compliance with all local accounting and tax regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 5 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting, preferably in Cyprus.

- Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax regulations and payroll processing.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Fluency in English and Greek is essential.
